Dan transformed an area of our garden in which nothing really thrived and was a constant planting challenge. He created a lovely gentle stream, trickling down to a small pond. Dan is very creative and takes time to learn what the client wants and then he begins to ‘paint a picture’ in beautiful stone, pebbles and waterfalls. He is extremely professional and considerate and keeps to the agreed budget. I would unreservedly recommend him.

We have been absolutely delighted with the work carried out by Daniel Upsher on our small pond. He has transformed our garden and provided us with a major focal point of interest. We particularly liked the stepped type waterfall doubling as a bird bath. We cannot wait until the summer months next year when the pond and surrounding plant features will be at their best. Dan came recommended to us by the local aquatic centre as we wanted a new Koi pond constructed. We had a basic idea of what we wanted but were happy to leave the details of the design to Dan. He has created a wonderful pond and rockery feature for us which is beyond anything we could have imagined - and is a real showcase of Dan’s professional skill and knowledge. It was a challenging project at times, Dan has worked really hard and has been a pleasure to deal with.

The work was carried out efficiently and on time and has transformed our old garden pond into a magnificent water feature.

Dan, using his experience, successfully rejuvenated my pond which included capturing and holding a large range of fish, creating a new waterfall and drainage, building sustainable margins with a large range of plants. Really improved health and appearance.

I am extremely pleased with the disappearing waterfall/stream Dan created in my garden. It is a work of art. His attention to detail is excellent as is shown in the quality plants he chose which really enhance the feature. He and his team worked hard taking out and disposing of the original feature.

Dan and Rick worked really hard. They were both very polite and good fun to have around. Their hard work and attention to detail as they were building this water feature was second to none! We enjoyed watching this project come to fruition and we are soooo very pleased with it. we especially like the water cascade, what a fabulous job athey have done and yes we would definately recomend them. Unbelievable good fortune to have had DU Waterscapes as the company I asked to relocate an old and leaking wildlife pond. Their understanding of the issues involved is encyclopedic and their work is first rate. The new pond is a thing of beauty and is already being colonised by amphibians on it's first day. From the first point of contact, there was a complete understanding of the leaking pond problem. The urgency was enforced by a remedial visit the following day. I cannot recommend this Professor of Ponds highly enough.

Would recommend any wanting a water feature. Friendly, honest and couldn’t fault his work. Did a fanatic job on my old worn down pond need some tlc. The fish and me are very happy. Should be what I need to do for cleaning the filter out and always help if have questions later on down the line.

We are very pleased with the way that the work on our pond (removal of slabs, old liner and underlay, and their replacement was carried out, with the minimum of disruption and mess.

Dan has been excellent in creating a wonderful pond/brook from a somewhat very sad existing pond filled with blanket weed. He was very professional and informative through the whole process. A pleasure to watch the work of the transformation unfold.

Very impressed by what Dan has done to recover a silted up and overgrown pond and turn it into an attractive wild-life pond. He's very knowledgeable and thoughtful, and good at overcoming practical difficulties on our really rather tricky site. It's early days for the new plant life, but I can't fault his work on the pond itself. Pleased to recommend him.
